The next generations deserve a world where the more machines learn, the more people matter. That’s why we’re rethinking education for the people who’ll hold the future we build today.

In recent years we’ve awarded nearly 100 scholarships, opening H-FARM’s programs to young people with academic ability, curiosity, determination, and the drive to take on something harder.

Students work on real projects with companies, organizations, and other foundations, building the skills AI can't replace: working with others, making decisions, explaining their ideas.

We develop courses and experiences for people with disabilities and their families, and for those returning to work after a period of isolation. Tools, skills, and connections to take a real part in social and working life.

We connect different generations: young people guide seniors through the digital skills of everyday life, and in return they gain experience, perspectives, and stories they wouldn’t find anywhere else.

We believe closing the gap between the pace of technology and the pace of learning is one of the biggest educational challenges of our time. It can’t come down to luck or privilege, so we fund scholarships, bring digital and AI skills into schools and communities, and connect the people imagining what humanity will become next.

The AI revolution is moving at a pace we’ve never seen before. It’s reshaping how we live and work in under 7 years, while completing a course of study takes around 16: for the first time, reality is evolving faster than we can make sense of it.

Technology puts almost any piece of information within reach in seconds, and what we learn risks going out of date far sooner than we expect.The questions get deeper: what does it mean to educate today? And which deeply human abilities will matter even more?Humanity Future Lab was born out of a desire to stop and think about what’s really changing, and to imagine how education should evolve, alongside people with different experiences, skills, and points of view.
